Sail the seven seas with top sailing school
Les Glénans has always fostered relationships between trainees from various countries. Established in France in 1947, the school has been constantly growing since, and now welcomes more than 15,000 trainees every year, including more than 2,000 from outside of France – mostly from European countries.
A sailing school, a sea school, a school of life
Every year, more than 15,000 trainees discover sailing with Les Glénans or improve their sailing skills on cruising boats, catamarans, dinghies, day-boats and windsurf boards. From the beginner to the experienced sailor, and all the way to the training of instructors, everyone can find a course which is suited to them.
Les Glenans : THE reference
"To establish, between men and women from all countries, links through nautical activities"... This objective, as mentioned in the Glénans’ statutes, conveys the humanism and open-mindedness of their founders, more than 60 years ago.
The Glénans Sailing Handbook
The Glénans Sailing Handbook is a collection of the knowledge acquired since the beginning of the sailing school and is the reference handbook in the yachting world, in France and abroad. It is the fruit of more than sixty years collective experience of sailing. The 7th edition, entirely revised and enlarged, was published in 2010.
Learn sailing with Les Glenans
Les Glénans are organizing some courses in English, at various levels (novice or experienced), for adults of all ages (18 and more), and on various locations across France.
